Dropbox - Simplify your life!

Ever been somewhere and needed a file that was on a different pc? Or maybe you forgot your memory stick and can't get your work in on time? Well Dropbox is a service that allows you to upload files to the internet in your user area and you can then log in to dropbox from any computer and download that file. When you install Dropbox onto your computer/laptop it makes a separate folder, so when you're working on something you save it into the Dropbox folder and it will automatically sync and upload to the internet. If you then go on a different computer/laptop that has Dropbox on it, it will download all the new files automatically. Dropbox is also available for smart phones so you can download and work on files on the go. I actually found this really handy, I was on the train to college and I downloaded my assignment and finished on my phone, I then got to college and it had been updated so all I had to do was print! To help you understand it a bit more, take a look at their video.
When you start Dropbox you get a free 1GB allowance. You can increase this allowance by doing things such as installing Dropbox on a different computer/laptop/phone and you'll get an extra 250MB, you also get 250MB for accepting a referral from someone, so here's my referral link. Click here and sign up and when you download Dropbox you'll have 1.25 GB free!
