Laser Quest win!

The Laser Quest day went awesomely, the only bad thing was that the weather was so hot it made running around inside a horrible task, it was all stuffy. Because there was a weird amount of people we decided to have a tournament and have three games each and then a free-for-all. There was four teams of eight, I was on the team with my tutors. The first game was one of my best ones yet it was the only game where I didn't unclip my gun from my pack, so I was restricted the whole game yet I still managed to do better that game then when I played with the gun unclipped and fully manoeuvrable. It went so well that my tutor mentioned making it a weekly/fortnightly event!

I went to the freshers fair today, hungover. I was walking around missing my bed and not even the freebies made me feel any better. I went to the beach last night and got drunk with my house-mates and spent the night climbing random things, and this random, drunken climbing lead me to join the climbing society today. My house-mates do it and reckon I'll be good for it as I'm tall and thin..

Tomorrow/Today is going to maybe be a busy day. I'm heading back to my home town to meet up with my mother and to see my little sister. The main reason I'm heading back is to pick up some parcels and do some other stuff there. Kinda excited because I haven't seen my mother/sister in a while and every time I see my sister nowadays she seems to have changed loads. Anyways it's gone 3am now and I have to get up in a couple of hours so ill get back to those of you that have commented later today.

Oh and one last thing, I had my first Google adsense payment the other day! Yay for google! (:

Google POWA!

Google have recently announced their power usage, this is the power in which gGoogle require to run the servers that allow us to use their services, such as Google searches, Youtube, Gmail and others. The recent figures show that to run these services Google use 260 million watts. That's enough energy to power a city with the population of 100,000 to 200,000.. That is a lot.

Knowing the power usage I would not like to be responsible
 for the maintenance of their servers..

I don't know about you but I was shocked reading about this, I mean I knew Google have a tonne of servers but I didn't imagine the power usage.. Google themselves don't seem to the think the figure is crazy because they think that their services actually reduce the amount of energy that us everyday people use. For example we would use the Google search engine instead of driving to the library to find out something.. I can sort of see what they mean, I'd like to see what other companies power usage is to compare Google's usage with.
