PC gaming with Xbox Controls.

There is pretty much only types of gamers, PC and console gamers. I for one and a bit of both, this is mostly because the majority of my friends are on Xbox Live and the PSN and the fact that at the moment I don't actually have a PC. If you're a console gamer but would like to make the transfer to PC gaming to experience better graphics and overall a better way to game then you might be interested in this product. At first when I saw this product I thought.... what the hell. A lot of people use Ps3 or Xbox controllers whilst PC gaming, but this product is a mixture of PC gaming(mouse) and Xbox gaming(Anolog stick).
Sayy whaaaaaat?
I know what you're thinking.. That's just have a controller and a mouse.. Well you're kinda right I suppose. But just imagine playing a game now with these controls. The mouse in your right hand to move the cursor and the left controller to move around and fire. When I pretend to hold these and play a game it seems to work well in my head, I don't know if that's me going crazy or if this is just a genius idea. The product is also available for Ps3 buttons too. They sell for around £60-£70 which is pretty good considering some gaming mice go for way more alone. They're available from here.

What are your thoughts on this product? Genius or Crazy?

The best gaming laptop ever..?

Okay so we've all heard of Alienware laptops, the ones that cost a tonne of money and look bloody fantastic. Well I propose to you a better laptop that's equally if not more expensive but looks so damn awesome you'll want one never mind the price.
This laptop is ridiculously expensive and you could easily build a pc from scratch for cheaper but that screen/multi-touch pad on the right and the fact it advertised Battlefield 3 has made me a little biased. The guy that talks about this laptop definitely thinks it's a good product.. What do you guys think? Do you think it's just another piece of over priced crap or do you think what you pay for is around about what you get? You have to admit, it looks pretty damn good.

Quarter Panda With Cheese

Quarter Panda with Cheese

Abstract
George the panda was seen as an outcast to the other pandas, he didn’t like bamboo or Justin Panda. He liked McDonald’s and Stereopandas, he was called horrible names like fatpanda and pandabags. All of this was before the robotic apocalypse… Since then he has become King panda, the only living mammal in the world. To live on he must keep fighting his way through the robot infested forest to collect McDonald meals but before he can devour his luscious meals he must collect condiments as he can only eat fries with tomato sauce and burgers with curry sauce.  Once George devours a burger he can grow enough inner strength to destroy anything in his way.. To defeat Megatron and his evil army of robots George must make it to the burger.

Game play
The player must navigate the panda (George) through the bamboo forest and collect the mcdonalds sauces before they move onto the next level. After they collect the sauces users must go to the fries/burger to proceed to the next level. All of this must be done whilst avoiding Megatron.

Appearance
The panda’s natural habitat is the rainforest, so this game has high grass and bamboo to mark out the path of the maze. Due to the sad nature of the game the appearance is bright to make it happy.

Target Audience
This game was made with people that enjoy maze games in mind. It takes mazes to a whole new level.

Production Tools
Sprite Development: Microsoft Paint
Game engine: GameMaker

So this post is a little random but this was the first game I ever created, it's very basic i know. This was the game brief I done. The majority of the people in my class had no back story to their game, mine ofc is a true story.

If you want to play this game for some reason, download Game Maker for free and then download my game here

Have you ever used Game Maker, and how did you find using it?
