PC gaming with Xbox Controls.

There is pretty much only types of gamers, PC and console gamers. I for one and a bit of both, this is mostly because the majority of my friends are on Xbox Live and the PSN and the fact that at the moment I don't actually have a PC. If you're a console gamer but would like to make the transfer to PC gaming to experience better graphics and overall a better way to game then you might be interested in this product. At first when I saw this product I thought.... what the hell. A lot of people use Ps3 or Xbox controllers whilst PC gaming, but this product is a mixture of PC gaming(mouse) and Xbox gaming(Anolog stick).

I know what you're thinking.. That's just have a controller and a mouse.. Well you're kinda right I suppose. But just imagine playing a game now with these controls. The mouse in your right hand to move the cursor and the left controller to move around and fire. When I pretend to hold these and play a game it seems to work well in my head, I don't know if that's me going crazy or if this is just a genius idea. The product is also available for Ps3 buttons too. They sell for around £60-£70 which is pretty good considering some gaming mice go for way more alone. They're available from here.

Giving old games consoles a new life!

Have you got an old games console that you no longer use? Or maybe an Xbox with the rrod? I've got three broken Xbox's and I didn't know what I was going to do with them before now. These pictures may get you in a diy mood so beware.

This Nintendo 64 controller and Gamecube have been transformed into helpful desk organisers, I'm tempted to try something similar with my broken Xbox controller. You can buy these from here.

This can also be baught from the same place as the above two items. If you don't need any organisers because you're too busy living life to organise then maybe this Ps3 grill would be to your liking? 

I always thought the old chunky Ps3's looked like a toaster/George Foreman grill..

One thing is for sure I will not be doing the following to my Xbox.. I love my Xbox but just not this much...

Yup, someone emptied out the Xbox, cut a hole in it and added handles.. All so they could show their love towards said Xbox..

Ps3 vs Xbox

I know the both platforms have been out for ages but yesterday I purchased a Ps3 so I could finally compare the both fairly. I've always stood strong with my opinion of the Xbox. The only thing the Ps3 has over Xbox is that the Playstation Network is free.. It's free because it's always down. Since yesterday morning every time i've tried to update I keep getting error messages, no biggy, I thought i'd check on the internet to see if other people have the same error code. What do you know thousands of other users are having the same problem, and in these threads I see there are no Sony workers offering help.

When I bought my Xbox I was up on live the same day, enjoying all the benefits of live. I know it costs per year but it's never down, the servers have never been down and I've had an Xbox for over four years now. The first day I get a Playstation and the networks down. Apparently they're down for maintenance because they're trying to get a chat system going on like the Xbox, where you press the Xbox button and send messages and that. Currently on the Ps3 you cannot send messages to someone if they're on a different game, which sucks. This new feature to the Ps3 doesn't bother me at all because the Xbox will still be my preferred console, I'd rather pay for PSN if it meant it wouldn't be down all the time.

So yeah I just had to have a little rant about the Playstation Network.. Have you got a Ps3? Do you get annoyed with the Network? If you have both consoles which do you prefer?
